UrbanRAIL 2012
Urban rail operators are already grappling with unexpected spikes in rail patronage in recent years which has placed incredible stress on system capacity - particularly during morning and afternoon peaks. In order for rail operators to continue attracting frustrated motorists to their network, innovative action is needed to unlock the current capacity constraints on our urban systems.
Furthermore, the industry is well aware that urban rail services need to be more than just timely to drive customer loyalty. The common aim is to provide consistently enjoyable and comfortable journeys. With these issues in mind Urban Rail 2012 will examine the short and long term challenges facing urban rail operators as demand increases , as well as explore practical and inventive ways to build better relationships with passengers and improve the customer experience.
Now in its 4th year Urban Rail has developed into one of the most significant events on the industry calendar and in 2012 the summit will continue to provide you with the latest information from the industry and first hand interaction with figureheads from the passenger rail sector.
