The Rail CRC seeks to meet growing transport
needs identified by both the rail industry and researchers. The CRC
for rail innovation will build on the successful collaborative
arrangements and approaches from the former CRC to ensure
maximisation of adoption rates to deliver outcomes.

participants have maintained their involvement and strengthened
their level of commitment.
The R&D providers are the leading
Australian research groups in rail transport. In addition, industry
has taken a stronger role facilitated by the Australasian Railway
Association.
It is our vision that the CRC for Rail
innovation will undertake rail research to generate $6.5 billion of
economic benefit for Australia.
